Is the AMICUS® APP only for valve bags?
No, this robotic bag applicator is compatible with prefabricated open bags, tubular film, as well as various valve bags.
Can a single AMICUS® APP handle multiple product recipes and bag sizes?
Yes, the AMICUS APP® has the ability pick up and apply multiple bag sizes allowing for use on unlimited product recipes.
How long is the install & integration process?
The install process is very quick and the safety fencing requirement can be eliminated with the use of a Cobot. Additionally, our user-friendly interface allows for intuitive and easy adaptation to container and pallet sizing.
What are the bag loading options for the AMICUS APP®?
Various bag loading stations are available depending on your requirements. Also, the AMICUS® APP can be paired with the AMICUS® DEPAL for continuous, fully automated bag placing.

The AMICUS® DEPAL consists of the robot arm with our innovative gripping tool, a camera system and the associated control system and accesses at least one pallet location. From there, it can load several bag magazines with the same empty bags.
The AMICUS® PAL Robotic Palletizer is designed for applications up to 1,200 containers/hour. For bags, our standard is from 5 to 50 kg / 10 to 110lbs. It can also handle pails, canisters and various types of drums.
