OUR HISTORYTHROUGHOUT THE YEARS…
Our parent company Haver & Boecker OHG in Oelde, Germany start in 1887 by making a simple mesh wire to close jute bags. From there we grew little by little until, we opened our first American office in 1977 in New York. It was just a simple sales office with two people, one phone line and a desk.
Today, we sit in an office/warehouse split of over 30,000 sq ft with 60+ people ready to continue to grow and get the job done. Throughout the years, our parent company Haver & Boecker OHG, has acquired sister companies for us to work with and help sell and service in the North American marketplace.
1887
Haver & Boecker Germany started as a wire manufacturer for closing jute bags of cement.
1977
HAVER FILLING SYSTEMS, INC. a subsidiary of the machinery division of Haver & Boecker was established in the Americas.
1989
HAVER FILLING SYSTEMS, INC. moved to Conyers, Georgia, only 30 miles from Atlanta.
2000
BEHN+ BATES, a HAVER FILLING SYSTEMS, INC. brand was established in the area of food grade packaging.
2001
HAVER FILLING SYSTEMS – West Coast was founded in Los Angeles, California to meet the needs of our West Coast clients
2002
HAVER FILLING SYSTEMS INC 30th Anniversary
2003
Acquisition of FEIGE Filling Technology USA, LLC – a leading manufacture of semi and fully automated liquid filling equipment.
2010
Completion of office and warehouse expansion with the purpose of adding manufacturing to the company portfolio
2012
Acquisition of NEWTEC BAG PALLETIZING, – a leading manufacture of bag palletizing equipment
2013
Completion of a second warehouse expansion with the purpose of expanding manufacturing capabilities
2015
In order to better align with our Products and Services we decided to change our name to Haver & Boecker USA, INC
2018
HAVER & BOEKER and WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER enter into a joint-venture to create AVENTUS
2020
As the first of its kind in the marketplace, the Haver Roto-Packer turns 60 years old
